About Us: - We are Richard & Carmen Tredwell - originally from the UK. We've lived in New Zealand for the past 19 years and love it!. We own a beautiful historic homestead that we've turned into a B&B and have two ornate holiday cottages all set in 20 acres of landscaped gardens & grounds. For 7 months of the year (Oct - Apr) we operate the 'Whareama Coastal Walk' from here - a fully catered 2 or 3 day walking experience over private farmland with isolated coastline views...... So if you enjoy trekking, check this out. We enjoy having visitors come and share our 'little piece of paradise' here in the Wairarapa. We look forward to meeting you! |
The minimum deposit required to confirm your booking of accommodation is 10% of booking total.
During peak periods this may be more. Your booking is not secured until the deposit is received. This can be made by credit card using our secure payment facility or by bank credit to the account shown below:

The balance of your booking is required when the keys are collected in cash or by credit card or by bank transfer prior to arrival. We will let you know exactly when the balance is due. Please note we DO NOT have Eftpos facilities and balances paid by credit card incur a 3% transaction fee (or 5% if overseas card is used). We accept Visa or Mastercard.
Cancellation Terms:
$50 Admin fee for alteration or cancellation of confirmed bookings, plus credit card transaction fee - if applicable.
Loss of deposit if booking cancelled within 1 month of occupancy.
Peak period, late cancellation (within 2 weeks of occupancy) incurs 50% balance fee charge if no replacement renters can be found.
Cancellation due to Covid 19 Restrictions being in place - option to re-book a later arrival date at no extra cost or full refund less $50 admin fee, plus credit card transaction fee - if applicable.
Damage:
The guest is responsible for all breakages and damage caused by the guest and any cost of repair or replacement is payable to the Hosts on demand.
